Discovering My Passion for Cybersecurity




Welcome! I'm Niveditha Madhyala.

My goal in writing this blog is to uncover how I discovered my passion for cyber security. I'll describe how I got started in the field, and how my passion for cyber security developed over time.


Have you'll ever wondered:
  • Can I be part of tech world without (constantly arguing over tabs vs. spaces) #Caffeine-fueled coding sessions?
  • I want way more luxury, better life with less working hours. How can I even have both? less work, more luxury??
  • I'm tired of working like mules, I want some thrill filled with challenges, And want sense of purpose and fulfillment? Can I ever in this lifetime!!!??
If you'll ever thought about them. Then this is the right place!

The answer to all this is "Cyber Security!"

Every coin has two sides, and every situation has its own unique challenges. When we are faced with a difficult situation, we need to decide whether to work through it or to give up. If we decide to work through it, we need to be prepared to put in the necessary energy and time. Working through a difficult situation can be a challenge, but it can also be an opportunity for growth.

My Journey to Becoming a Tech Knight

The Spark

I have always been fascinated by technology and how things work. As a child, I loved disassembling and reassembling gadgets. My curiosity led me to a career in cybersecurity, where I will leverage my technical expertise to solve real-world problems and protect my company's data and systems from cyberattacks.

 My first encounter with cybersecurity was through a news article about a major scamming incident. I was shocked by the ease with which hackers accessed sensitive information. This sparked my interest in cybersecurity, and I began researching online. Attending a cybersecurity conference during college was a turning point. Listening to experts discuss emerging threats and innovative solutions solidified my passion for cybersecurity

I began my cybersecurity education by accessing online resources. I took Coursera's Cybersecurity Specialization course, joined the Cybersecurity Subreddit, and listened to podcasts such as "The CyberWire." I was eager to learn more and absorbed all the information I could find.

Lessons Learned
  • Continuous learning is essential.
  • Practical experience beats theoretical knowledge.
  • Community support accelerates growth.
  • Creativity and problem-solving are key.


I have taken on my challenge, and I am excited about what the future holds. I believe that each of us has the potential for greatness. The decision of whether to undertake the challenge of doing something great or to continue dreaming about it is up to you. When will you take on your challenge?

My cybersecurity journey began with curiosity and grew into a passion. I'm excited to share my experiences, lessons learned, and insights gained along the way.

Advice for Aspiring Tech Knights
  • Start small and build your skills.
  • Engage with online communities.
  • Participate in competitions and workshops.
  • Stay curious and adapt to emerging trends.
